This is an imperial award, gold wound badge being for a significant injury.

If it was worn on a tropical tunic, it would be one of few and far between officers especially ones at the Lieutenant rank. I think that this award should not be mounted on this uniform. Perhaps a nice Coastal Artillery or TR Wound Badge
This is just my thoughts. IMHO.
