Just picked up this waffenrock from Helmut Weitze. I have a few questions about it, and hope you guys can answer! On Kaiser's Bunker, Tony has the shoulder straps for the 6th Dragoon Regiment as black with a red number 6, but on this example the 6 is in yellow. Any reason for that? I was thinking it might have faded to yellow, but the rest of the tunic sure doesn't look faded. Any help is appreciated!

Dragoner-Regiment Nr. 6
Karl
the number on the strap apparently changed from red to yellow sometime in the period 1890 to 1896. They are still shown as red in the 1890 edition of Moritz Ruhl's Die Uniformen der Deutschen Armee but are shown as yellow in the Prussian Army Dress Regulations of 1896.

Kuerassier7,
He did turn a bit of a profit on it, but it was well worth the price I paid in my eyes, especially with the lance proficiency chevron. Very excited to crack open the box and see it when I get home next month!
And thanks for all the nice comments, guys! I am officially hooked on waffenrocks and plan to eventually have one for every type of branch. I have Garde du Corps, Hussar, 2 Bavarian Infantry, and now a Dragoon one. Such a wide variety and very aesthetically pleasing!
