I didnt like to comment while the auctions going on. Dont know about you Gents but I,ve started feelling uneasy about doing so.
But now, have you noticed how these helmets all have the same look and usual camo?
Some of the bidders are funky. Toy collectors and the like.

It makes one wonder what a real one would sell for? I'm afraid that in the end, it will just drive down the price as people become more wary.

This syndrome has influenced See Bataillon shoulder straps, due to the good quality fakes. Collectors are afraid to buy them, which is great for me, as I have gotten two beautiful original pairs for peanuts.

Including the one I have in my collection, I've seen fewer than five originals in 35 years. That's about how many fakes this guy has sold in the last couple of years. This one sold for over $1500.00. This crook is getting better, and he's not the only one from across the water. Keep exposing them for what they really are... maybe it will save someone from parting with their hard earned money.
