Bad chin strap on Ebay.

Seller says it's original but

Few days ago it was up to 86 USD and then dropped to 36 when someone retracted their bid. Now back up to 131.50 currently.

White stiching, lack of wear, new looking leather. While I don't know about the hardware the strap is no different then this one I own.

It's aged a little better than yours, but it's a bad strap. Too bad for the guy that bought a $20.00 strap for well over $100.00. I've dealt with this Dealer years ago and can vouch for his Integrity... If it's wrong... He'll make it right!

This is a a big problem with a lot of new collectors. They see a big time Dealer with 8000+ feedback comments and a 99.9% rating and will never question the items they sell. The buyer will receive the chinstrap thinking its original, and will post positive feedback.

That is one problem in this hobby, just because someone is a dealer does not mean they know anything more or less then the collector. I see fakes all the time that it seems the seller belives it's good when in fact it's bad. Every collctor has his specialty and dealers have to be jack of all trades so they get it wrong in some areas, right in others.

But the seller,s cool. He say,s he,s no expert and offers a return, what more could he do in a public auction?
I guess he could ask for opinions but so can the bidder.

Never doubed the sellers integrity. Just that of the bidders!

Check out this chin strap on ebay. Says it's an M18 strap but I don't know what kinda strap it is. Not M18.

He is, and he's one of the honest Dealers out there. Still doesn't change the fact that the chinstrap is a repo.
