Trench club, real?

I want to hear a second opinion. Is this genuin?
Some sources say it's a reproduction, made older and muddy.

Some sources say, that there may not be markings on it. On this one there are.
Are these clubs scare?
I just want to be sure that I'm not going to spoil money to a duplicate.

Dont know if clubs were sometimes marked, or not - have not seen to many (I have 2) as they are very rare.
Here it looks like the markings were already on the piece that was recyclet to construct the club IMO.
