Reserve Officer Pickelhaube

I picked this up a while back with a grouping of various items. I believe it is a reserve officer helmet but then again, I've read that the iron cross may signify a landswehr officer. I am sure one of the experts would know.

I plan on listing this on the e-stand shortly and would value any opinion as to a fitting price. As you can see, the leather has crazed, some stitching has broken, and the condition is far from new.

Regardless, it still looks neat, all parts are original, and someone may enjoy bringing it back to its former condition.
