    This one is in my collection for something like 15 years. I've never seen a spike this long, but I guess the original owner must have been a fashion freak or so ...
    Also interesting is the use of split pins for the stars and the wappen instead of bolts and nuts...

    Another outstanding pickelhaube, and that spike........., wow! If I wore this haube ( I'm 6'3"). I would have to duck in many places!
