    M16 value?

These are the only photos the seller sent me. I can see the chinstrap and one rivet are missing. Other than that how does this helmet look? He quoted me $500.00 which seems way to high to me, but I appreciate any opinions to value as well. Sorry about the small size of the inside shot.

I would place this one closer to $300.00...

In the UK these are increasing in value with liners and good paint, I think you could pick up better on the e-stand, but in a year or so you maybe kicking yourself.....if you havnt

I have some Afghan 16s I brought back that I sell for £180-£200 with no liners.

I appreciate the input. If I'm able to work a deal on this, I guess my next step might be finding a split pin and chinstrap. I'm guessing I'd have to go repro with both.

If you pick it up William might have an extra liner pin. He can also point you in the right direction for repo parts. Good luck, and Happy Hunting.

I got a ton of liner pins and am always willing to part with them for someone in need. I can hook you up on a real rear liner pin but like Chuck says the helmet is not worth the 500 asking price. They do shell on Ebay for about that but they have no missing liner pins and even adding one does not bump up the value as much as it having them all to begin with.

That helmet would sell for 3 to 4 hundred on ebay so counter offer somewhere in between if you want it.
