A friend have submit to me 3 type of event lug.

The flate or square :



Chamfered :



And the smooth :



Normaly is the Lindenberg ( "Bell" L64) type, but it's seem not alleways the case (some lindenberg have other type of lugs).

Could you have the kidness to look at your to reply to the question :

Which lug's typifies for which manufacturer.

The picture are welcome.

The best is to have :

The type of lugs.

The manufacturer.

And And the serial number of sheet of steel ( It's the only way, to extimate rhe date and the field's replacement of lugs).

Looking at the helmet from the front:The right lug is original, the left is wartime repair. Sometimes the replacement has a slightly thicker washer. In this case slightly thicker than the normal size64.
