What do you think about this kind of skull now?

I think the small skulls were based on the bigger one (shown below) which dates from the 1890s.

The only time I have ever seen these small skulls being worn is on the kindermuetze and the wehrwolf tabs.

Never seen them on anything else.

The muetze came first.

So I can only assume they were made for the muetze and later used on the tabs.

I may be mistaken!

For sure, though..................they were used widely on Wehrwolf tabs.
