    Imperial Luger holster stamp

    Hey guys Ive posted this in the firearms section as well, but did not want to miss you Imperial guys on this ink stamp on inside of a 1911 year of manufacture brown Luger holster. Any ideas about this one?

    IMHO the BA III stands for Bekleidungsamt des III Armeekorps [clothing depot of the third Army Corps district - Brandenburg - Berlin is located in this district ] The T III 1912 stands for Train-Bataillon 3 [service corps] and the holster was first issued in 1912. Someone else may have more input.

        The Hersteller is Otto Sindel of Berlin, who also made other leather items for the army including, saddles, holsters for other military pistols, cartridge pouches, map cases and even belt buckle tabs.
