How did it get doctored so fast? The original helmet sold on April 7th. The doctored version sold on April 11th. The glue on the stamps probably aren't even dry yet

Both sellers are in Ohio, so quick delivery I guess, but I wonder why would you do this just to make an extra couple of hundred $? Times must be tough?

It's most definitely the same helmet and the buyer in the first auction is the seller in the second. The guy who added the stamps and sold it in the second auction is "brauh (1122)". The buyer in the first auction, in the coded language of Ebay's privacy policy is "h***b (1122)". Notice how the ending letters are the same as the ending letters of brauh, but just transposed. Also, of course, the feedback number is the same.

Well, as devil's advocate, at least this guy did, in a way, help "restore" the helmet by adding the pads to the liner.

I had no idea people were adding the postage stamps and lables to these things. It would have fooled me.

BTW, having discovered that the coded bidders names are coded by transposing the ending letters of the actual name, and replacing the middle letters with astricks, it will help decipher the coded names if you already have a suspicion of who is bidding, and know their Ebay handle.

Ummmm, maybe I should get a life....

Do helmets with mailing labels bring more money? Personally, I don't care much for helmets with such things on them. But others must really like this? To each his own.

Grrrrrrr!!! I watched the helmet in the first auction. Now I see it was played with and re sold for more. Yes of late mailing labels have been bringing in more cash. HOW LAME and I am glad I don't care for them.

This means the buyer was out to win the lid just to add to it and flip it all in the same week. Most Ebayer have a longer memory then this I don't know how the guy could get away with it.

Can this be reported? Can the new buyer be contacted?

                    W.

I just happened to save this helmet on my watch list this afternoon. I sent him a message asking how the liner pads, mailing label, and stamps got on the helmet so fast. I also let him know that his scam is being exposed, and he will be reported. I deleted the first auction of this helmet without the above items in question... did anybody save it?

                            Well... here's his response -

"Since bidders are blinded, how do you know who purchased what? Pls don't respond as I could give less than two ****s about you".
