Just received this one. The maker and size are B.F. 64. There is a good amount of original paint inside and out. There's also a good amount of original dirt and mud throughout the entire helmet... liner included. Remnants of a mailing label remain on top of the shell. I believe the painted shield to be original. It is consistant in age and wear with the rest of the helmet, and known original's I've seen in the past. All three liner rivets are original to this shell, and, still hold the original M16 leather liner system. The liner shows its age, but is in very good condition. All three original cushions are in their pouches. The original leather drawstring is still there. The chinstrap is old as dirt, but seems to have been built, or repaired in the field.
