    M16 helmet and cover

    This one is in the post, poor images but all I have at present, I have a good feeling about it though. Will post my own imnages when it arrives. What is a value estimate of a good helmet and cover?

          I allways been comfortable with these. My winter snowcamo? Iam 50/50 on that. Could be a fake?

                          What is a good one worth?

                            What are they worth and never see any? You probably will not see any on ebay.
                            Real ones are rare. The last time I bought a dated corps issue cover was 17yrs ago for $400. Problem is most were made below corps depot level so dont carry issue or date stamps or are washed /worn away by the elements. But dont give up sometimes you just get plain lucky. I bought an original at a London street market!! and the grey one was found when a friend in Germany was helping to demolish an old barn!!! Man, did it stink.Check photo.The 'sack' cover was another lucky find.
                            Friend, I liked the look of yours untill I saw the rim clips. But then again that might be a good sign. The fakers usually use a tight loop clip. Originals Allways have a teardrop shape to the wire clip (steel OR brass).
