I'm not sure what you have there, but it's not a WWI German variation I've ever seen.

Does,nt look German at all to me.

It's not an military pattern that I have seen either. It is post-WWI. My guess would be some sort of youth group canteen.

That canteen is always mis ID'ed on ebay as German. I've never thought it really was.

It's not Swiss, it's Swedish....two entirely different patterns of canteen.
