AUSTRIAN EAGLE discovery-help!

Hello everyone,
I am not an experiment of this material,but I wanted to have information about this Austrian eagle that I have found.The eagle is good,but behind the eagle has its clasp.
I do not know much,I hope in your help.

What is the size of the eagle? Looks like it is from a kepi/shako.

there is a hook/eyelet missing on the right side. YOu put it on the headgear and secure it from the inside. In that way its easy to remove it.

Yep, that right, like the one on the front of a kepi I have.
