Prussian Pioneer Officer Spike Helmet

Here's my first Prussian Pioneer Officer Helmet which I aquired about a year ago. It's the vulcan-fibre body type. The metal fittings have not been cleaned since I aquired it. The silver looks much darker in person. I guess the flash lightened the silver eagle, spike, and rosettes up a bit. I especially like it because it came from the collection of an old friend of mine who passed away a number of years ago. The body is in pretty good shape, other than a few scattered nicks and scuffs.
