    Anyone familiar with the design on the face of this button?

    I've acquired quite a military buttons over the years. This one I'm not sure of. I assume it is WW1 vintage but not sure if it is representative of one of the German Nation States or Austria? Maybe Belgian or English?
    It's size is larger than what I would assume would go on a tunic so I suspect it went on a heavy winter coat of some sort.

    OKay, I got an answer...it's Belgian. Anywhere from late 19th century to pre-WWI manufacture. Thanks guys! Kim
