          As always, the condition of the helmets in your collection is absolutely top notch. As a collector primarily of iron crosses,
          when I first started looking for a pickelhaulb, I wanted to find one just like this. A officers helmet with chin scales and the reserve "iron cross" . Once I discovered what the value of these pieces, I had to readjust my goals

          Very nice helmet.

            It looks as if a Soldier has been detailed to keep the helmet in inspection ready state since the end of the war.
