Husaren-Regt. Koenigin Wilhelmina der Niederlande (Hannoversches) Nr.15 (Wandsbek)!!!

Some photos from Hamburg today! I thought, some Imperial collectors would like to see the photos

I have seen some of the last 'relicts' of the Husaren Regiment 15.

In a small park I found this memorial.....

When I saw the nice Husaren memorial (1923) I asked me, is it possible to find more things...

              The answer was, yes!

              Look what I found next!

The 15th Husaren got the second more impressive memorial in 1938.

Beautiful monuments, specialy the last one, is a shame that in todays "art world monuments" they use the modernistic crapy looking approach to subjects, you need the artist explanation bronce plaque to understand the "work of art" and "his" vision.

With this ones, their porpuse to honor the men who serve in the regiment need no explanation, again magnificent monuments, thanks for posting them.

                              I tried to find more...

If you look carefully, you can still find the rests of the Husaren buildings. A local told me, here was the Reithalle (indoor riding arena) in past.

Today here is a bakery and other shops.
