    I see nothing wrong with the rivets...

    Looks fine to me, these were really , or should be considered a friekorps helmet , as many were worn by them post war. Heres another for comparison.

            This ones only difference is the batch number being K instead of A. If anyone needs any other shots let me know ...no hijack here.

              Very fine M18 Ron. Every "Bell L" (R. Lindenberg) helmet I've seen has thicker front liner pin heads. This seems to be a feature unique to this maker, along with the rounded vent lugs.

              Juoneen, the ink stamps on the inside rear flange are WW1 era acceptance stamps (AK followed by the shell size). These were applied in factory at the tail end of production, prior to the installation of the liner.

                I think this is one of the best M18 "Bell L" helmets of the world... if not, THE best!
