    Imperial Militaria Dealers

    Gentlemen,
    I am seeking information on dealers that have at least a decent selection of Imperial German items, especially headgear. I am already aware of Helmut Weitze, Saxonia Militaria, The Collectors Guild, Der Rittmeister, and Regimentals.
    Could anyone recommend any other online dealers ? Thank you in advance.

    Robert as a collector I have used all the above however a lot of good stuff does come up on the e-stand.....I have found with imperial you have to wait and be lucky.... unlike TR .

      Right now, I am looking for a nice pre-war peaked cap for a cavalry regiment. Saxonia Militaria has a number of good looking caps, at fair prices, but I would like to see some others as well. I don't believe Der Rittmeister is a good choice; his prices are insanely high.

        Bob, for me it would be Peter at Saxonia or Malcolm at Regimentals....Peter and Malcolm would be best contacted by phone with a back up e-mail, or send me a pm and I will pass on your wants to Peter, I am deploying tomorrow so will be out until I arrive in theatre on Monday, all the best, Paul

            That is Sergio's site, he is a great source of some of the rarest items you will find. He does not speak English, so conversations can be tough, but they are worth it.

            I am surprised people here vote for Regimentals. After seeing their III Reich items, I would not touch their Imperial stuff with a 10 foot pole

            Same goes with several members of the Hamburg mafia

              Thanks everyone for your suggestions so far. I know that Regimentals has a shaky reputation for Third Reich items, but my sense is that they are more or less ok on other items. Regardiing the "Hamburg Mafia", are you perchance referring to Herr Weitze?

                Everybody say's Saxonia is a good source but I have tried many times to get in touch with them phone and email with no luck.I gave up on them because they have never returned any of my emails or calls.I thought that they just did not want to bother with overseas buys so F (forget) them.I have told everybody that collects Imperial items to please leave them alone as they do not care to even answer their email or calls.

                  Well said. I have tried many times as have friends of mine. So my advice is to forget Saxonia and dont waste your time.

                    Somebody from Saxonia is reading this forum as I just got a email from Peter answering a question that I asked him 4 days ago.I have tried (as I said)in the past to get intouch with them with no answer,that was 1 year ago.

                      I can only speak as I find, I have dealt with Peter for many years and have never had a problem, pick up the phone and talk to him and send a confirmation e-mail.....Paul B

                        Same good feeling from my side.

                        Once, I went to London and met him at home. Good meeting.

                        I would agree about the feeling on Regimentals and I don't buy in this shop.
