Hello All,
Looking for information on what this TK might actually be, and from what era - is it WWI, WWII, Modern Fantasy piece? I do not have it in my possession, but recall it measuring approximately 3 3/4" tall overall by 3 1/2" wide.

Eric, here is a photo of just one of the many pattern of skull worn by the Italian Fascist Black Brigades. Yes, different from the one you posted with the femurs and the swords etc, but the skull itself is very similar, having a head-on lower jaw, with the jaw muscles etc. Perhaps what you posted is a form of an Italian Fascist Black Brigade skull?

Thank you for the continued input. If my example is an authentic piece, it seems we are closing in on some good examples and time periods. I am also tending to lean to the belief that if it is a fake, we'd see more examples of such an assumably, mass-produced item. I just have to rationalize whether spending the $ on such an "unknown" is a worthwhile investment or more of an emotional decision.

I told it, not all cap skulls were from Germany. They were popular in other countries,too. Interesting photo, Tony
