    Picklehaube spare parts?

    Help required please.
    I have a felt picklehaube which is a little worse for wear that I would like to restore. So does anyone know of any sources for brass spares? I'm after a chinstap mounting post, a spike backplate for inside the helmet and a couple of split pins for securing the spike.

    Original would be nice but I would compromise with copies to get it looking correct.

    Occasionally spares and "parts helmets" show up on Ebay,

      Try Great War Militaria. They generally have cigar boxes half filled with original parts.
