Looks like a fire pickel to me, the lion emblem on the cockade resembles a Belgian lion.

I am sure someone will know for sure, but in any event I'd guess you would have more luck posting in the Pickelhaube section.

Definitly Fireman. Different kind of comb. Not sure of nationality.

I would guess that it is a Saxon fire helmet, due to the un-serrated (Saxon style) national cockade. The front plate is pretty generic and lends no help.
