M16 Parts Helmet?

What do you guys think? I like most of the helmets this collector sells but not this one. I like the outside fine but I think the liner is not original to the helmet. Too much
shrinkage for a helmet in so good condition. I don't like how the pads are tied so tight no one could ever wear it.

Is it possible the liner is really for a size 64? The Shrinkage is excessive.

I agree, this seller offers some really nice original WWI German M16 steel combat helmets for sale. In fact, I have bought from this seller in the past with complete satisfaction.

What I don't like about this helmet is how "clean" it is... inside and out. If it is the original liner I think it may have been removed and the inside cleaned. Look under the thick leather liner band... nothing... it is spotless. The liner may have been added to this shell also... I don't know... it's hard to make that determination from the photos provided.

This is also a seller who only sells of his seconds. He's had some nice seconds but they are no where near as nice as his top shelf helmets and he's got dozens and dozens of top shelf stuff.

If the helmet in question was just a shell with a lower price I might be interested.
