    It's a good cover but no offense to the seller but he wants a buttload of money for it. For that much cash you could get one with regimental numbers on the front IMO

      No offense taken as to my price. It's just that from what I've found on some sites, enlisted covers without numbers are harder to find than the ones with numbers, and are certainly more difficult to find than officers covers. In fact, when I looked on a few sites before I listed it, I couldn't find any unnumbered enlisted covers for sale. Of course, depending on what you want to display, the numberd ones are great for very early war displays, but, frankly, one sees many more photos of unnumbered ones being worn in combat than numbered ones.

      With this cover, you can identify it as to what outfit it belonged to by seeing where the numbers were sewn, but it most likely also saw service after that, instead of just being put away when the numbers were discontinued.
