I can not make much of an assessment as to how original (meaning non-restored) that helmet is. It looks like may be pretty much original and in nice condition. If that is the case I would double the amount given above as a good value range for type of helmet. You can also easily find them listed and even watch them sell for higher than that doubled range.

It has been many years...maybe 8 or more since I have seen original sound officer spke helmets for under 1k from anyone who had any idea with they were.
