This isn't my collecting area, so hope anybody can help with info on this silver ww1 ? shooting lanyard? How old is it and worn by who? value ?Thanks!

Nice grouping! But mine isn't green, but of silver wire... so is this a State lanyard or common to all german ww1(?) troops?

Well, I have ww2 shooting lanyards, but this one is slightly larger, has no wool protective backing and never had an insignia mounted. That's why I was thinking it is (pre-)ww1... but that's not my area of collecting.

Could it be Interbellum/Reichswehr then? (1920-1933?)
