Meeting a guy with a Luger for sale and hes got this sword, these are the only two photos as yet, can anyone assist with information on this sword and which crest this is?

It is a Wuertemberger officer's walking-out sabre. If the knot's original it could be quite a nice piece.Comment

Actually, this is an item of issue sword for the Württemberg Landjägerkorps since it is property marked LK on the blade. It is not a military sword. The LK were the rural police of Württemberg.Comment
