    Pickelhaube "badge".

    I was given this badge yesterday. I dont know muc about this stuff, but it looks to me like a pre war, Prussian enlisted man's Pickelhaube badge.
    Am I correct? Is there any interesting trivia to know about these?

    The women who gave it to me tore off the right leg when she unhooked the eagle from the wall where it was hanging for years.

          I wasnt there when she took it off the wall, and the leg is reported as MIA.
