Pickelhaube opinions please ?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can give me some information about this WWI pickelhaube. I'm way out of my league here, but I was actually able to aquire this with a small lot of WWII items.

I really only collect WWII items and want to sell this, but I would really appreciate some information about it and some opinions good or bad.

Howdy; Its an Artillery officers helmet made after 1910 I'd say. Missing chinstrap and some other hardware but nice . Jerry R.

It might be possible to find the correct chinstrap, mounting hardware and Officers cockades to restore this nice pickelhaube to it's formal glory. it's also possible to straighten the ball top and base plate as well if carefully done. If it were mine that's what I would do but then that's just my opinion. Still it's a nice pickelhaube

Looks good, ready to be restored! Cannot say for sure it is officers, has studs instead of stars holding the kugel on top? could be NCO?
