saxon officer pickelhaube opinion please ?

Hello Gentlemen,
may I have your opinion on this spike helmet which is for sale for 700 euros 1050 dollars .It only have one saxon cocard on the right side and the cocard on the other side is missing. The helmet is in good condition as well as the liner .

This is some sort of Saxon customs or police Beamte helmet not the normal helmet for a military Saxon officer. These were private purchase helmets. The cockade set up is correct for any Saxon prior to 1897.

Looks like an honest helmet ,check there are no extra holes behind the plate , I have to add that I havent seen that plate before and I am sure Zoll and Police helmets are worth less than combat helmets (but I am probably wrong ). To me the price is top whack I would knock of 20% as an opening gambit .Rob
