    PICKELHAUBEN ...Good???

    Can I get your feelings on this helmet? I don't know if it if a missmacthed one or just what it is. I do think the eagle on the front has been repainted and that spine is bad and should not the band on the rim be brass? Looks like it is painted? So a 1871 spike on a 1896 helmet? Please help!!!

                Hello,

                The shell itself looks good and like "Monfort" said it could be used as a base for a restoration project.
                Sorry, but I can't decipher the (unit) code on the inside of the rim.
