    ww1 tunic set

    just saw this on the bay today,
    looks interesting? what do you guys think about authentic?

    would love to add to my collection but alas no refund check this year...

    Looks like moth left pocket and collar looks like it has messed about, I would say it is period with some buggering about, Feld gray is expensive and this is not a good example, that said I would want better photos of the inside, collar, and buttons......prices are shooting up and a good one would be double that..

      yep guy had it at 1,700+
      then ended it and uped the price to 2500-3000
      will have to wait for a better one, thxs joe

        Joe, I think you will do well by letting this one go. Even with the several hundred dollars in accessories (officer's belt, EK1, etc) and that it might be a an Eisenbahn officer's duty coat, it looks like it may have been messed with in the collar and buttons are not typical for the M-15.

          i think it has been messed with alot, to many no-no's buttons, collar, inside lining,

            That sounds good, Joe. There will always be another opportunity, and glad to encourage an interest in field gray uniforms. When I'm able to post attachments I'll put up some shots of feldgrau uniforms in my collection.
