I always have had a soft-spot for traditions-badged headgear of all eras, and if you have any, I would love to see them in this thread. The first is a standard IR 92 Dunkelblau Officers visor:

Tony--interesting thread--don't know how I missed it (too much time in the TR Headgear forum?!). I will be the first to admit that my specialty is Headgear, and insignia of WWI is not my forte'--however, the thread (which is an excellent one) does not achieve any sort of consensus. I am not a fanatic in defending a bad piece, but I would like to see some sort of conclusiveness with regards to the particular skull style that is on my hat.
Unfortunately, most of the wartime pics of both the KR and TR are too far away to get any real detail, but this TR totenkopf looks most similar to mine:
