Dear All,

Thanks to some help I received here with appraising the value of some WW I equipment I was able to get an officer spike. So I would like to share the images with you. It is interesting in so far as it is the scarce Ersatz type made with a tin body. Unfortunately, it has some dings but other than that it's a great pieces.

I not only do not have one of these Albert I don't know that I have ever seen one. I have seen a lot of enlisted ones. But a private purchase metal is surely odd. I love the concept!
