Well, I'm no expert, but that is definitely NOT a WW1 German cavalry helmet. All German cavalry by WW1 were wearing either spiked helmets, tschapskas, or busbies.

If the helmet is even genuine, it looks more like the style worn in the early 1800's.

Ya mean 'cause the badge is off center and under the crest? You dion't thuink a Prussian NCO would be happy with that? Or because the liner looks to be made of vinyl leather? Or just because it doesn't match any known 19th or 20th Century helmet pattern?

But don't be dissing the Pakistanis! They do good work with a good model to work from. No, this has "theatre" written all over it. Not even good enough for TV or movies, IMHO.

What I don't understand, is why all the positive feedback comments? Are these people the seller's friends? Anyone with any intelligence, not to mention knowledge of Imperial German helmets, would see this for a scam!
