Naval Flyers Officers Cap Badge?

Was so impressed by the quality of this just had to post it. Am I correct in stating that it is a naval officers flyer cap badge.

Hi Rob,

not a naval officers' badge but that of a Deckoffizier (Warrant Officer) or Senior NCO (Feldwebel/Wachtmeister, Vizefeldwebel/Vizewachtmeister) equivalent in the Kaiserliche Marine.

Hi Glenn,

thanks for the reply, know nothing about these, thought it was for an aviator as it match some shown on postcards i have.

Unfortunately still a little confused

1) Are ther no differences between badges for Kaiserliche ship and aviators?

2) Are the ones with the "ribbon" like I show for Deckoffiziers and the ones with oakleaves for officer rank?

Is that right?
