A very nice bust indeed. Perhaps the only way to get a general idea of the age would be to track down the artist (if you can) and see when he was in production. Though I generally think that these busts are from the postwar period (there are lots of different types and materials used), yours gives me the impression that it may have been made earlier. It's nothing but a feeling, however.
