The liner (at least the leather portion) is definitely not original to that helmet, there is too great a difference in condition. I would also suspect the inscription. There is something amiss with the finish on the liner band as well. In fact the finish on the whole helmet looks strange.

Looks like Swiss liner pads to me. Definatly not original liner pads, to me this puts everything about the helmet into suspect status.

If you get it for a good deal then no harm done. I can't see the true color of the paint. If it is as black as it looks in person It's not worth more then 150.00 dollars depending on what you want and how much of a purist you are.
