It's a pre-WW1 enlisted uniform from Hannoversches J******228;ger-Bataillon Nr.10., a unit of the Prussian army. The buckle is Prussian also.

[Chip M]

It's from a highly desirable Hannoveran unit with the Gibraltar traditions cuff band commenorating the battalion's connection with service in the Napoleonic wars. The band alone is of some value.

I'm not entirely sure about this specifically, but most of the tunics of similar period and rank that I've seen go for between €500 - €1000. Weitze has a superficially similar tunic for €725. Yours is a bit more beat up, but my guess is that it is a more desireable tunic.

Of course, what a shop that can leave it sitting on the shelf for two years can sell it for and what you can quickly sell it for aren't necessarily the same thing.

Keep in mind, however, that I know very little about what makes one Imperial tunic or another more or less desirable. I'm really estimating on the basis of rank and time period.
