Well, it looks like a standard m17 (steel band) German helmet with original factory paint. What is nice is the replacement Austrian chinstrap which looks authentic, but I suppose could an aged reproduction. This chinstrap was design for the perpose of replacing the german leather strap.
German helmets purchased by for the KuK were issued as is. They were not repainted, relined or furnished the replacement chinstrap until they needed to be fefurbished at a repair depot. This being the case, it's not likely that this chinstrap has been with this helmet since the war, but still possible.
Hope this helps.

I should add, These are certainly rare chinstraps. It's the first I have seen for sale.
If you actually get this helmet, check to see if the paint worn off the shell around the chinstrap lug, matches the rectangular steel end to the strap. This could tell you if the strap is a recent addition to the helmet. Frankly, I wouldn't care as long as its all original.
Good luck.

Chip,
I think it's strictly Austrian. I will have to check my references. Notice how the strap is put together with one slider and the locking clasp used on the Berndorfer strap. Plus, this looks like the same type cotton web material as seen on the roll buckle chinstrap used on the Austrian made helmets. Cool to see one.

Brian,
It's the original German liner assembly (M-17), with white pads and retains the original draw string. The finish is the field grey inside and out, and a white circular ID patch is hand-painted on the very back of the helmet. With the exception of the chin strap assembly and the ID patch, it's a stock German M17.
