    What for are these pouches?

i guys, what are these pouches for? The ones with the sharper angles are unmarked, but I've seen same with BERLIN stamp. The more round pouch in the middle is marked right over the buckle AM 19 16 /the number 19 is right over the 16/. What were these used for? /I think that the left pouch got that latch as a later repair, I think it originally had a strap and a buckle for closing/.

I would say that the two pentagonal cases may have been used to carry gunner's quadrants.

The two pouches with the pointed bottoms are Bulgarian reserve cartridge pouches. During WWI these were made in Germany for the Bulgarians as well as in Bulgaria. They were worn along with the two main cartridge pouches worn on the front of the belt to give the soldier much needed extra ammo. I can't help with the round bottom pouches. Are the Bulgian pouches possibly for sale or trade?

Hi Bill, thank you very much for the identification! I have only these and want to keep them, but if more appear, I'll give you a call.

              Theodor,

The two round bottomed pouches are Hufeisentaschen for the Bocksattel. This is the sattle that was used by artillery and Train in the German army. I have one just like them. Unfortunately, one of yours is missing some leather pieces.
