No. 16 has the crown over knot design of the British South Staffiordshire Regiment, perhaps a pre brass button of a the regiments numbered predecessor, or a volunteer or miltia unit of the regiment, a blazer button? I have'nt got the books to hand to check. The button itself, especially with the rim looks more continental in design, could even be a modern production for wear as a fashion item on civilian clothing.

I think you may be right about #22 It's hard to see in Theo's photo but I thought I saw a double tail (Bavarian) but then it looks like the lion may not have a crown. Bavarian lions could face either directions so that doesn't help.
