Camo M18 helmet

Greetings

Thoughts on this helmet shell would be appreciated, Came out of Arizona (no story on how it was aquired etc) cost $300.00 and was filthy when received have cleaned with a damp cloth and applied some wax. I know WW2 German camos are a minefield of fakes, so thought I would post this WW1 Example for opinions as have become a bit paranoid!, Looks like it has been used as a bucket to mix paint/size or something.

camo paint looks real
it is a m16/17 shell with whats left of m17 liner

Looks good to me Mike. The colours & wear look very similar to a couple of my own. I'd be happy to have it in my collection so let me know if you want to quit it as you wont have far to send it.

Its the first Non Kiwi brought back example I have had, would live to see some images of your WW1 camos. There is such a huge variation.
