Merry Christmas! Can any one give me an ideal of the real market value of a one year volunteer Garde du Corps helmet? There is a name stamped in the liner.

Well a few years ago a genuine example I know of was sold for £5,000 in the UK.......right or wrong price for then I don't know ?

I was offered a nice one from a German dealer 3 years ago for $5000.00. I passed on it but probably should have bought it!

I would think that the helmet which started this thread would be worth in the $8000 to $10000 range- its a scarce variation, and all original...
