Spectacular find in munich today. Came directly out of a house cleaning. Lay in the attic for centuries untouched and uncleaned. First collector to have it in hands. I will leave it as it is. Dinosaur skin patina with moth holes inside but well preserved Gold over the years. I hope you like it. Definitely made my day.

Not to rain on your parade, but I have a concern about what appears to be a mismatch in condition between the fairly weathered and shrunk/deformed leather Haube and the immaculate fittings. I think I see some evidence in one of the pics that the leather has shrunk around the right lion's head (viewer perspective) of the front plate, but see no evidence that it did the same around the Kreuzbeschlag on top of the helmet, even if the helmet body seems to have sunk in quite a bit. am I mistaken?
