ww1 prussian bisby cap need help!

i bought this today on a gamble. from what i could research i believe its a EM prussian hussars bisby cap. (possibly from the netherlands regiment) does anyone know if the colors varied by regiment or branch? also it looks good to me as far as materials and stamping go but i dont normally collect german items that are this early so im not sure if its a good repop or genuine. any help or information would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

The only little bit I found was it was possibly 3rd Reserve Hussar Reg. I hope you got a better deal than what he was offering me.

they were produced all the way up until early post war. im not sure how the 1918 date is wrong. is it the stamping itself that gives it away?
