German (?) boots identification - wood sole

Hello, kindly asking information about these leather boots with wooden sole.

These look somewhat German style, but most likely reworked (after war, little flap of leather in front and back). Maybe used by farmers....

These are marked inside.

I do not understand the wooden sole ... ??

They come from a flea market in France.

Are these periode ww1 ? Reworked after war? Or post war ?
